Connect with peers from across the industry while competing for the coveted King of Pong trophy and other prices.
Whether you're a seasoned player or a complete beginner, everyone is welcome to join the fun.
Played on 4 mini tables from Stiga and courts with referee tables and scoreboards.
We offer great food and drinks to keep your energy up throughout the evening.
The winner receives the coveted King of Pong trophy. Other prizes are also up for grabs.

Arrival Time
If you're competing, you must be present and checked in by 5:30 PM.
Dress Code
Dress comfortably. Just try to avoid wearing a white top (since the ball is white).
Racket
Bring your favorite racket! If you don't have your own, there are several loaner rackets available on site.
Balls & Tables
We play with white Stiga Perform 40+ balls on Stiga Mini tables (125 x 75 cm) with adjusted net height (11.5 cm).
Group Play & Finals
The goal is for everyone to play in 4-team groups where the top two advance to a knockout stage.
Match Schedule
We use our in-house developed system "pong-stack" to draw groups, create match schedules, and record results.
Referees
In group play, players help referee each other's matches. In the finals, a referee will be present for you.
Basic Rules
We follow the Swedish Table Tennis Federation's rules, but adapted for mini ping pong.
Sets
Matches in group play are best of 3 sets. Matches in the finals are best of 5 sets.
Scoring
Each set is played to 11 points. You must win by 2 points. Players serve 2 times each. At 10-10, you serve 1 time each until someone wins by 2 points.
Timeout
1 timeout per player per match is allowed (max 1 minute).
Coaching
Coaching is allowed, but only between sets.
King of Pong is open to everyone, but is aimed primarily for those who work in the IT industry, regardless of ping pong experience level. Whether you're a seasoned player or picking up a paddle for the first time, you're warmly welcome to join this evening of competition and networking.

Of course you can! Players of all levels are welcome and we encourage everyone to take part.
If you're competing, you need to register at least 30 minutes before the tournament starts, i.e. be there at 17:30 at the latest. However, we encourage all attendees to arrive as early as possible to not risk losing their spot and so you can enjoy the full evening.
You can bring your own bat if you have one. However, there will be a limited number of bats to borrow if you don't have one.
Anything but white is OK (since the ball is white). However, we suggest dressing for comfort in your finest sporting outfit.

We use the rules of SBTF with adjustments for the size and net height of a mini table. You can find the rules on their website.

No! We do this for the love of the game and to bring likeminded people together for a night of fun and ping pong.
